How to Recover Deleted/Modified Office 365 Files

AutoSave is enabled by default. If it wasn't turned off, have a search in the Auto Recover Location. The attached video is about how to find the location.

Copy the path into File Explorer and good luck.

If the file was saved in a sharing folder on SharePoint, Deleted/Modified documents are saved on the cloud for 90 days.

To recover a modified file, open OneDrive Web and locate the file. Find the desired version and click Restore.

To recover a deleted file, please submit a ticket with the following information as exactly as possible at Jitbit.

- File name

- Path

- Deleted date

IT Team members will have to look for the file within the Sharepoint site bin. Annoyingly there is no search function.
